Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

VoocType (the “Service”) is operated by Sajid Ali (“VoocType”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using VoocType you enter into a binding agreement with Sajid Ali on these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old, and if you use VoocType on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not dictate content you do not have the right to record or transcribe.
• Do not use VoocType to harass, defame, or violate anyone’s privacy.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or overload the service.
• Do not use VoocType for automated decision-making in regulated domains.
• Do not use the Service unlawfully, to distribute malware, or to infringe intellectual property.

4. Payments, plans and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries for billing, handles payments, subscription renewals, taxes, invoices, chargebacks, and returns.

Current plans include a free trial allowance, a monthly plan at $15/month for 10 hours of dictation, an annual plan at $150/year for 15 hours per month, and a $5 add-on for 2.5 additional hours. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates and collects.

By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

You own your transcripts and documents. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and display them solely to operate the Service. We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models.

6. Intellectual property

VoocType, its software, branding, and documentation are owned by Sajid Ali. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Real-time transcription depends on your network and third-party providers.

8. Disclaimer

VoocType is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Transcripts may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it in medical, legal, or other regulated workflows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to VoocType is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your documents may be deleted after 30 days.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
